Celebrating 30th Anniversary, Shiseido, the biggest Japanese costmetic company, stated that Cle de Peau , exquisite skincare line of Shiseido, will launch a limited-edition skincare cream priced at Y1,050,000 ( $ 13,335 ) on September 21st, 2012 in occassion of celebration.
Only three jars of ” La Creme” are being retail in size of 50 g., each container hand-crafted and made up of 30 layers of crystals and three platinum rungs, Shiseido said. The jar is being produced jointly by the cosmetics firm and Crystal Saint-Louis, a specialist glassmaker from France whose designs are highly sought after by collectors.
Shiseido said it will accept orders for the three products at its main store in the upmarket Ginza district of Tokyo from August 30. If it receives more then three orders, it will hold a draw for the winners.
“We do not usually make limited editions of our products, but this is to mark a special occasion for the Cle de Peau Beaute line,” said Megumi Kinukawa. “We hope it will appeal to our loyal customers and people who are interested in gorgeous brands.”

This exclusive “La Creme” has powerful anti-ageing properties, the company said, and can both lift and tighten skin on the face.
Shiseido is Japan’s largest cosmetics firm and has annual global sales of around Y638.1 billion . Domestic sales have been hurt in Japan’s recent economic downturn, but the trend that has emerged is for super-luxury brand products.
