From latest Fall/Winter Collection of Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent Paris offered the divisive opinions in the industry, It seem like latest leak of photo might not assist in redeeming the prestigious to the house but point to a new era.
Now, it turned out that Mariryn Manson is not the only beau in the new Saint Laurent’s campaign. Courtney Love also spotted in a new campaign along with Kim Gordon, and Ariel Winter in its latest series of ads, called Music Project. Manson and company certainly won’t be the first musicians to appear in one of the brand’s campaigns. In January, the brand’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, released a few shots he took of Beck and Sky Ferreira.
If you think that how illogical of this execution but emotional aspiration, you might be wrong. Those campaign will be featured in exclusive selected targeted print out magazines in Art and Music industry like Art Review or Dazed & Confused which is a new area of Luxury house to intrude. It was strategically plotted to a new boundary. This, I guessed, would be executed to a PR stunts soon like Photo Exhibition, exclusive music single, viral video clips, rally of parties, co-sponsor to musician or coffee table book that will last forever in every houses. Saint Laurent will surely have a new community but don’t leave the old glory day too far behind, we still love Mr. Yves Saint Laurent.
